Danny Mills claims that Arsenal fans would love their club to sign Manchester United forward, Marouane Fellaini, and Gooners are far from impressed.

This week, reports emerged claiming that Arsenal are interested in signing Fellaini, whose contract with United expires at the end of the season.

The 30-year-old has scored three goals in eight Premier League appearances this season and can be a useful target man, but his clumsiness, tendency to fade out of games and temper make him more of a liability than a help.

Therefore, when former Leeds United right-back Danny Mills told talkSPORT that not only should the Gunners sign Fellaini but that Gooners would love him at their club, Arsenal Twitter bit back.

Mills claims that, because he’s a goal threat, Arsene Wenger should snap him up. In fact, he can’t understand why United allegedly want to sell him, especially to a rival.

While I would argue that maybe, maybe Fellaini could be a good squad player, would he honestly get into the team ahead of Olivier Giroud, who’s also a big target man? The Frenchman is far better at holding up the ball and if he’s struggling for minutes, I don’t see Wenger giving Fellaini any.
