Aaron Ramsey’s 10 best Arsenal goals

Aaron Ramsey has reached 50 goals for Arsenal but which ones are his best?

50 up

Ramsey has been at Arsenal since 2008. Therefore, it’s fair to say that he’s had the time to score some stunners.

The Welshman may not find the back of the net every match, but when he does, the goals are often well-worked with a tidy finish.

The midfielder, when fully fit, is an integral part of the Arsenal starting XI and is quite possibly our most important player. All you have to do is look at how we play without him in the centre of the park or how crucial he (usually) is to Wales’ national team to see how special he is.

Hopefully, it won’t take another nine years for Rambo to reach his 100th goal for Arsenal. And, even if it does, let’s hope he’s with our club long enough to do so.

In no particular order, here are 10 of Rambo’s best goals in red and white:

Spurs, away, March 2006

The matched ended 2-2 but it was a lovely back-heal and he shushed White Hart Lane.

Everton, home, May 2017

Rambo’s now scored three times against the Toffees.

Liverpool, home, November 2013

2013/14 was probably Rambo’s best season in an Arsenal shirt. This stunner against Liverpool marked his 10th of the campaign.

Norwich, away, May 2014

What a goal.

Cardiff, away, November 2013

Rambo somehow managed to score while falling over AND make it look good.

Galatasaray, away, December 2014

Pick that out.

Norwich, home October 2013

Loves a pretty goal against the Canaries does our Rambo.

Stoke, away, December 2014

Arsenal may have ended up losing 3-2 but a goal against Stoke is always nice.

Hull City, Wembley, May 2014

Nine years without a trophy. Arsenal went 2-0 down to Hull within minutes only to stage an heroic fight-back, which was topped off with an extra time goal from Rambo.

Chelsea, Wembley, May 2017

Down but not out. Arsenal dominated the champions and deservedly won with a lovely goal from our Welsh midfielder.
