Mesut Ozil was tempting fate on Twitter. He meant well with his innocent post, but may be regretting having done it now.
The 29-year-old is currently away with the German national team and posted a picture of him and his teammates on social media. The pictured involved him surrounded by Jerome Boateng, Emre Can, Julian Draxler, Leroy Sane and Ilkay Gundogan.

He invited his follows to caption it, which was just asking for trouble. Ozil may have meant well by his initial post, but his followers couldn’t resist getting in a cheeky dig.

Ozil hasn’t had the best of seasons for Arsenal so far. The 29-year-old has just one goal and two assists, and unfortunately hasn’t performed as well as he could do in the big games.
This doesn’t appear to an issue for him with Germany, where he seems to be enjoying himself more. Die Mannschaft have qualified for the World Cup and will play friendlies against England and France during the international break.
After that, he’ll be back with Arsenal and preparing for a North London derby against Tottenham. Ozil is out of contract in the summer, and speculation is mounting about his future at the club.
