Tottenham have been boosted by the returns of Harry Winks, Dele Alli and Harry Kane.

In news that has surprised nobody, the supposedly injured trio of Harry Winks, Dele Alli and Harry Kane have all returned to training in time to play Arsenal.

The three pulled out of the England squad that played friendlies against German and Brazil, presumably due to being not fit enough to play.

How much of that you believe depends on how cynical you want to be.

If we’re being kind, they all could have had minor knocks that ruled them out of the immediate friendly games, but cleared up just in time for the Arsenal game.

Alternatively, they could have played up minor issues to persuade Gareth Southgate to let them have two weeks off.

Either way, Tottenham’s injury management seems to be in fine working order, given that the majority of their doubtful players are suddenly fit again.

It wouldn’t surprise me at all if Toby Alderweireld somehow took to the field on Saturday as well, despite being ruled out until December.

Arsenal could sure do whatever they’re doing, as a number of their players returned from international duty tired and with knocks.

Laurent Koscielny had to sit out France’s game with Germany due to his ongoing Achilles problem, while Olivier Giroud has been ruled out with a knock.
