Arsenal are reportedly looking to bring Crystal Palace winger, Wilfried Zaha, on board as a replacement for Alexis Sanchez.

With just seven months left on his current Arsenal deal, it’s looking pretty certain that Alexis will either be leaving in January or at the end of the season on a free. This means that the Gunners need to find a replacement sharpish and, according to the Sun, Zaha is the man we want to bring in.

In fact, Arsenal are allegedly willing to fork out £35m for the 25-year-old.

The Gunners were linked with the winger back in 2012, before he signed for Manchester United the following year. Therefore, the recent claims, whether true or not, aren’t that surprising.

Zaha returned to the Eagles after making just two league appearances for the Red Devils between 2013 and 2015. Although, he was sent out on three loan spells in that time, two of which were to his former team, since David Moyes did NOT want to play him.

Now he’s settled back at Palace, he’s made 89 league appearances and scored 13 goals. This season, the Ivory Coast international has made five starts.

Zaha’s hardly an adequate replacement for Alexis and I certainly don’t believe we would pay £35m for him.
