Finally, u18 goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo and defender Vontae Daley-Campbell will both join the u17s playing Portugal, Russia and Germany (via Islington Gazette).

Arsenal’s youngsters have had their work cut out for them recently, often playing out of position in their first ever senior matches. They’ve nonetheless helped the Gunners to the top of their Europa League group and the quarter-finals of the League Cup, so it’s good to see those efforts recognised.

Mavididi hasn’t had a particularly good time getting minutes for Preston, but he did score two goals for the England u20s in October, and fortunately that seems to have helped him retain his place.

If Okonkwo or Daley-Campbell make appearances for the u17s then those will be their debuts for the recent World Cup winning team.
