Arsenal are one the clubs interested in young Dinamo Zagreb keeper Adrian Semper, according to latest reports.

The 19-year-old is currently on loan at NK Lokomotiva Zagreb and is being watched by clubs around Europe. According to Tribal Football, RB Leipzig, Watford, Chelsea and Arsenal are all monitoring the keeper.

Leipzig have recently entered the race, and hope to sign him and send him on loan to Austrian affiliate, RB Salzburg. Watford are believed to be keen, while Arsenal and Chelsea’s names have seemingly be thrown in there to spice up the rumour.

Arsenal don’t have an outstanding young keeper at the club, but they are well-stocked. At youth level, Matt Macey, Ryan Huddart, Hugo Keto and Deyan Iliev all compete for a spot, while the even younger Alex Crean and Joao Virginia are also in contention.

Semper is a product of Dinamo Zagreb’s academy, and is currently gaining first-team experience with NK Lokomotiva. He’s made 12 appearances in the Croatian first division.

He was loan at NK Lokomotiva last season as well, when he played 16 times. Samper recently won his first cap for the Croatia u21s, having been a regular at u19 level.
