Arsenal have reportedly contacted Chelsea over 21-year-old Charly Musonda Jr.

Musonda’s manager at Belgium, Roberto Martinez, has revealed that the 21-year-old isn’t happy with his lack of playing time at Chelsea, despite turning down the chance to go out on loan during the summer.

The ex-Everton coach seemed less than impressed with the youngster’s behaviour, which recently involved posting about his lack of minutes on Instagram.

As a result, Foot Mercato are claiming that the young winger is pushing to leave in January and Arsenal are one of the clubs to contact the Blues over a move. The Gunners have been linked with him for a while.

However, whether Musonda would actually go for it is another story seeing as it’s unknown whether he’d get any more playing time in north London.

The Belgium international has featured just four times for Antonio Conte’s side so far this term and has only started twice… in the League Cup.

With under two years left on his current deal with Chelsea, it’s look likely that he will leave. If only because the club get bored with his attitude.

Musonda has been with the Blues since 2012 when he signed from Anderlecht’s youth side. Last year, he was loaned out to Betis, where he made 24 La Liga appearances and scored once.

He also scored against Nottingham Forest during his debut for Chelsea.
