Petr Cech has completed the third-most Premier League minutes ever.
Cech has racked up an impressive 30,329 minutes in the Premier League since he joined Chelsea from Rennes in 2004.
The goalkeeper is the only Gunner to make the top 10 for minutes played in the Premiership, which sees Gareth Barry lead with a respectable 31,824 and fellow shot-stopper Tim Howard come second with 31,748.
Considering Cech’s been in the Premier League, making a total of 409 appearances, for 17 years, it makes sense that he’s played as much as he has.
The 35-year-old has also managed to make 36 FA Cup appearances during his time in England, which come to 3,360 minutes.
What’s even more respectable is Cech’s total amount of time on the pitch over all competitions for all his clubs.
The former Czech Republic international has played 59,673 minutes of club football since starting off at Viktoria Plzeň in his youth. He’s appeared in 664 games.
He’s represented five teams as a senior player and made 124 appearances for his country before he retired in July 2016.
While Cech may not be the goalkeeper he once was, he’s still a true great and will go down as one of the best players to ever grace the Premier League.
And he’s still not done yet.
