Leicester City’s Riyad Mahrez is keen on a move to Arsenal or Tottenham in January, according to reports.

The Algerian winger was pushing for a move away from Leicester in the summer, with Arsenal, Roma and Barcelona linked. Naturally, those reports have resurfaced with the January window not too far away.

According to the Metro, Mahrez is still keen on a move to either Arsenal or Tottenham. The report follows claims from the Daily Mail that Arsenal could go back in for the winger.

Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez are both out of contract in the summer and could even leave in January. Arsenal will need replacements for them as a result, and the 2016 PFA Player of the Year has been touted as an option.

Leicester wanted £50m for him during the summer, and that price tag proved to be too high for any of the interested teams. It remains to be seen if they will come down on that price at all.

The Foxes are struggling in the Premier League so far, having won just once in their opening seven games. Mahrez has appeared in every game, assisting two goals. He has yet to find the back of the net himself.
