Inter Milan could make a move for Arsenal winger Theo Walcott when the January transfer window opens, according to latest reports from Italy.

Walcott‘s Arsenal future is in doubt as he finds himself struggling for first-team minutes. According to Calciomercato via talkSPORT, should Arsenal decide to sell him in January, Inter Milan will try to sign him.

When it comes to the Italian press, Inter are linked with just about everyone, I’ve noticed. There is a chance that Walcott might be available should his playing time not increase, however.

So far this season, he’s made just three sub appearances in the Premier League, and has started in a League cup game against Doncaster Rovers, and in the Europa League against Cologne and BATE Borisov.

As far as the league goes, Arsene Wenger seems to prefer Danny Welbeck and Alex Iwobi over him. Welbeck is currently out with a groin injury, while Iwobi was just coming back from a thigh problem, yet Wenger still didn’t start Walcott against Brighton last Sunday.

He’s on a player of big wages at the club and is approaching his 30s. It remains to be seen if he would be an attractive option for Inter or if they’d prefer someone younger and cheaper.

Walcott has recently been linked with the likes of West Ham United, Crystal Palace, Everton and Southampton.
