Arsenal could be looking to sell Theo Walcott in January as Arsene Wenger looks to offload some of the underachievers on higher wages and fans are pretty pleased.

Theo is allegedly on £110k-per-week and considering he’s only got 18 months left on his current contract and has only made six appearances over all competitions this season, Arsenal will reportedly look to sell him in January.

The former Southampton forward is coming up to his 11th year in north London and while the 28-year-old has shown glimmers of brilliance over the past decade, he’s now really struggling for game time. It appears that Wenger’s had enough and aims to cash-in instead of allowing him to leave on a free in 2019.

Theo’s scored three times in seven appearances this season and proven that even while not playing well he can still usually bang them in. However, with better players in front of him, it’s hard to see him getting many more minutes under his belt, particularly in the Premier League.

Everton and West Ham have both been linked.

Arsenal fans are pretty relieved as, while most like him, they acknowledge that the forward’s time at in north London should probably come to an end.
