Arsenal will be watching Benfica winger Andrija Zivkovic against Manchester United, according to reports.

The 21-year-old is expected to feature for the Portuguese side when they play Manchester United in the Champions League.

That’s according Record (via Sport Witness), who claim Arsenal have been monitoring Zivkovic since he was a teenager at Partizan Belgrade.

However, the report seems to be unsure what Arsenal will do should Zivkovic impress their scouts.

The Serbian has a £53m release clause in his contract and is unlikely to be sold for much less than that.

The winger has made eight appearances for Benfica so far this season. He’s yet to find the net, but does have three assists to his name.

He joined Benfica from Partizan in 2016 for a transfer fee of £5.85m and made 24 appearances in his first season, recording an impressive 11 assists.

Benfica tend to sign a lot of talented young players for little money, develop them, and then sell them on for significant profit.

Victor Lindelof, David Luiz, Ramires and Angel di Maria are amongst their most profitable sales in recent years.

Should he continue to develop, Zivkovic could follow suit one day.
