Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool keeping eye on Brazilian u17, Real Madrid also interested

Arsenal are reportedly keeping an eye on Brazil u17 attacking midfielder, Alan Guimarães.

According to Spanish outlet AS, Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool are said to be looking at signing the 17-year-old who currently plays for Palmeiras’ u17s.

Real Madrid, meanwhile, have reportedly come to a ‘verbal agreement’ with his agent Juan Figer despite the La Liga giants not meeting Alan’s €50m release clause.

The teenager would allegedly be joining Los Blancos after he turns 18 in March.

However, a source has apparently told Sport Witness that it’s too early to confirm the midfielder’s move to Real as the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and United are still interested. The Red Devils reportedly haven’t made contact with Palmeiras in a while though.

Alan supposedly caught everyone’s eye with his performance at the u17 South American Championship, which his side won unbeaten.

They’ve also won all of their games in the u17 World Cup in India and reached the quarter-finals where they face Germany on Sunday.

The Brazilian’s contract with Palmeiras has under two years left.

Alan is clearly talented and part of a really exciting batch of young Brazilians rising through the ranks. However, if the reports are true, it does seem as if he’s heading to Real Madrid.
