Arsenal and AC Milan are interested in Hoffenheim midfielder Kerem Demirbay, according to reports.

The 24-year-old has been a standout star in an impressive Hoffenheim side. According to Calciomercato, his performances have attracted the attention of Arsenal and AC Milan.

Dermibay, a German international who represented Turkey at youth, level, registered six goals and 10 assists last season as Hoffenheim finished fourth in the Bundesliga.

This season, he’s yet re-find the same form as he just two assists in 10 appearances. Demirbay joined Hoffenheim from Hamburg in 2016, after spending time on loan at Dusseldorf and Kaiserslautern.

His performances last season earned him a call-up to Germany’s squad for the Confederations Cup, where he scored in a 3-1 win over Cameroon.

Arsenal may soon be looking at a new creative player with the futures of a number of midfielders in doubt. Mesut Ozil and Jack Wilshere have yet to extend their contracts with the club and could leave in the summer.

Similarly, Santi Cazorla is also out of contract in the summer and struggling to return from a year out with injury. Aaron Ramsey will have a year remaining on his deal next season, with Arsenal looking to extend it beforehand.
