Turkish minnows, Trabzonspor, are reportedly set to make a move for Jack Wilshere.

With the Turkish transfer window still open, Trabzonspor, are allegedly ready to bring Wilshere on board on loan, claim the Sun.

The 25-year-old, who’s got under a year left on his current deal with Arsenal, was tipped to leave north London this summer but the rumours linking him with the likes of West Ham, Birmingham and Real Betis, never amounted to anything.

If the midfielder does leave on loan, it remains to be seen whether, like with Carl Jenkinson who’s on loan at Birmingham City himself, the Gunners extend Wilshere’s contract by a few years or just allow him to walk out the door on a free in 2018.

While the England international claims that he’s fit and ready for game time with the first team, Arsene Wenger isn’t convinced that Wilshere, who was on loan at Bournemouth last term, will be in the squad to face the Cherries on Saturday, saying that overall the midfielder needs to work on his fitness a bit more.

So far this season, Wilshere has had to make do with playing for Arsenal’s u23s as he makes his return from a hairline fracture to his fibula. However, after recently getting red-carded after a scuffle with a Manchester City u23 player, we may not ever see the lad play for the Gunners again.
