Arsenal and West Brom face each other for the first time this season at 8pm on Monday night; here’s how they line up.

Last time Arsenal played Tony Pulis in the Premier League at the Hawthorns, we left feeling embarrassed and dejected following a 3-1 defeat.

I’d like to say ‘little did we know’ it was only going to get worse since our 3-0 loss away to Crystal Palace was just around the corner but I think most of us knew what was about to happen. We just had no way of stopping it.

This encounter, however, should be a bit different.

While the Baggies are one point and two places above the Gunners in the table, Arsene Wenger’s side played pretty well against Chelsea last Sunday and although we only left with a point, the confidence the overall performance will hopefully have given the side could be massive.

West Brom have only lost once this season against the newly promoted Brighton. Other than that, they’ve beaten Bournemouth and Burnley, and drew against Stoke and West Ham. So they’ve not exactly been up against it so far this term.

Pulis is yet to win at the Emirates and Arsenal have never lost to West Brom on a Monday. Let’s do it.
