Kim Kallastrom scored a screamer Djurgardens against Orebro.

The Swedish midfielder spend half a season on loan at Arsenal during the 2013/14 season. He barely played, and certainly didn’t do anything like score a screamer on the half-volley in a potentially important game.

Djurgadens won the game 4-1, and currently sit four points behind Allsvenskan leaders Malmo.

Kallstrom arrived at Arsenal in rather bizarre circumstances.

Arsenal, in need of midfield reinforcement, signed him on a short-term loan deal in the January window.

It then turned out that he was signed with a back injury and wouldn’t be available to play for two months at least. Arsenal needed cover for the player they brought in as cover.

He would eventually pull on an Arsenal shirt and make four appearances, including one in the FA Cup semi-final against Wigan.

While he didn’t score any screamers, he did take and score a penalty in the shootout. As far as contributions go, it was a pretty important one.

Kallstrom went on to play for Grasshopper Zurich before joining Swedish side Djurgardens.
