Danny Welbeck scored a goal for England during their 4-0 World Cup qualifier win over Malta.

Welbz’s extra time goal followed a brace from Harry Kane and singular goal from Southampton’s Ryan Bertrand.

The 26-year-old has now scored seven goals in his last eight appearances for the Three Lions.

Mesut Ozil grabbed an assisted during Germany’s 2-1 win over the Czech Republic in their 2018 World Cup qualifier.

The playmaker’s country have now one seven out of seven of their qualifiers.

Timo Werner and Mats Hummels were Germany’s goalscorers.

Edward Nketiah scored a hat-trick for England’s u19s during their 7-1 win over Poland in an international friendly.

The match, which took place at St. George’s Park on Friday, also saw a hat-trick from Sheffield Wednesday’s George Hirst, and goal Sunderland’s Elliot Embleton.

England’s u19s won the European title last term and look determined to retain it if they continue this form.
