Arsenal fans seem to want manager Arsène Wenger out of the club again, just months after he signed a new two-year-deal with the Gunners.

The speculation around Wenger’s future reached new levels towards the end of last season, with fan protests and planes flying over stadiums and all the rest.

In a recent Twitter poll, 61% of fans voted that they were unhappy Wenger stayed on.

When the French manager put pen to paper on a new deal in May, most supporters seemed to be hopeful that fans would unify and that Arsenal could past the previous season behind them.

However, the club have struggled off the pitch and supporters aren’t happy. On social media, the divide is still there between supporters. Many weren’t happy at all with any of Wenger’s comments in the last week, calling on the fans to support the team, and believe he should focus on results.

The Arsenal manager also said not to write off the team’s hopes of turning things round and winning the title, but this was something the fans felt like they’d heard before.

Meanwhile, there were those who felt that Wenger should stop talking in the media altogether and just worry about his team who currently sit 16th in the Premier League table with three points from as many games.

The long-serving manager will have the chance to coach his team this week as his players return from international duty ready for the match against Bournemouth.
