Former West Brom and Arsenal striker Kevin Campbell predicts that the Baggies don’t have what it takes to win at the Emirates on Monday evening.

Speaking to Daily Cannon’s senior editor Crippy Cooke on Twitter, Campbell admitted that he reckons the Gunners will clinch it during their Premier League clash.

Campbell was at West Brom for just one year (2005 – 2006), scoring six league goals in 45 appearances but the 47-year-old actually started his career at Arsenal.

The striker rose through the academy from 1985 onward and left the senior team for Nottingham Forest 10 years later.

Campbell’s not unique in his view that Arsenal will beat West Brom, especially if play like they did against Chelsea last Sunday at Stamford Bridge. Another former Gunner, Paul Merson, reckons that Arsenal will win 2-0.

Arsene Wenger’s side played brilliantly during their 0-0 draw last weekend and if that side turns up against West Brom, we’ll be laughing. However, it’s tricky to predict what kind of Arsenal’s going to turn up, particularly at the Emirates.

While Arsenal are yet to lose on home soil this term and have managed to score seven goals in their two Premier League fixtures at the Emirates, their display against Doncaster Rovers in the League Cup on Wednesday wasn’t great. They won 1-0 but only just.

Granted, Wenger’s League Cup side was heavily rotated so hopefully our first team is ready for a big win.
