England, Germany and the Netherlands have named their squad for the next international windo, with five Arsenal Women players making the recent cut for their respective countries.

A good number of Arsenal players are missing out either because of the managers’ choice or injuries.

Jordan Nobbs, Danielle Carter and Jodie Taylor are selected for England’s qualifier against Russia at Prenton Park, Birkenhead on September 19.

Josephine Henning is not selected in the German squad by Steffi Jones as other players are preferred to her at centre-back.

Germany will play Slovenia and the Czech Republic in the FIFA 2019 Women’s World Cup qualifiers.

Dominique Janssen and Danielle Van De Donk are selected for the European champions. Anna Miedema and Sari Van Veenendaal miss out due to injury. The Netherlands will play Denmark in a friendly repeat of the Euros final won by the Netherlands.

A couple of weeks ago, Shelley Kerr selected Lisa Evans for her first ever Scotland squad for the friendly away to away to Hungary. Kim Little and Emma Mitchell both missed out due to injury with the former still recovering from her ACL injury.
