Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Real Madrid are reportedly after young Borussia Dortmund midfielder Christian Pulisic.

The Daily Star claim that in addition to interest already shown by Liverpool and Tottenham, Arsenal and Real Madrid are now also in for the 19-year-old US international.

It helps that Pulisic has had a very strong start to the season, scoring three goals and assisting one from midfield. As Dortmund have also played against Real Madrid and Tottenham this season already, both teams have had a chance to see him in action, although the German club lost 3-1 on both occasions.

Pulisic had a similarly strong season in the last campaign, scoring five and assisting 13 in 43 appearances despite being just 18 years old at the time. The youngster also has seven goals and 18 caps for the national team.

You’d expect such a talented youngster to be on the radar of many top clubs at the moment, but for now it’s unlikely to be much more than that, in my opinion. Arsenal have no pressing need for an attacking-midfielder, although that changes if Mesut Özil leaves in January or next summer.

The Gunners often seem to be on the lookout for talented youngsters, so we’ll see if this develops into anything more in the future.
