Arsenal fans have been reacting to the news that Jack Wilshere could be set to return against FC Köln on Thursday, and generally the response seems to be pretty positive.
Along with other players like Alexis Sanchez and Reiss Nelson who supporters want to see get a chance, Wilshere is one of those generating the most buzz as he edges closer to finally being back on the pitch with the Arsenal first-team.

Wilshere seems keen to get back involved in the action after his loan to Bournemouth and subsequent injury towards the end of the last campaign. The English international has always shown a lot of fight for the Gunners, the only real questions are about his injury record and his goal/assist contributions.
He’s in the last year of his contract, which means this season is make-or-break for his Arsenal career. Thursday’s Europa League clash represents a big opportunity for Wilshere.
