Arsenal fans ended up slightly disappointed not to have taken all three points away from Stamford Bridge, despite going into the game expecting a heavy defeat.
Such was the performance of the team, who looked a completely different animal to the one that limply surrendered within 20 minutes at Anfield. The Gunners’ supporters ended up feeling quite proud of the team for the effort and focus they displayed on Sunday, and took to social media to share their contentment with the performance:
On another day we might win that. Proud of the team today.

I asked for some pride before the game and well today I got it, unlucky Arsenal. I'm gutted with the draw tbh!

It was a treat to watch Arsenal in such high fighting spirit. Played as a team. Best away performance for a long time.

Good away point.

Kolašinac in particular drew praise again for his fight and danger going forward, even if this time it didn’t result in a goal. Fans seemed particularly impressed by the way he walked off Luiz’s red card challenge, despite the excessive force used by the Brazilian.
Seo Kolasinac might well be the most under-looked signing since Ignacio Eraso Monreal. An absolute steal.

Kolasinac was running again after that tackle… Absolute beast… #tank #Kolasinac pic.twitter.com/LcUl3TDUXr

That David Luiz 'tackle' would've ended the career of basically any footballer in the world apart from Kolasinac

Overall, Arsenal fans know that they could have taken more from the match, but after the performance at Anfield this was just what the club needed, to show some fight.
I've very happy. Complete contrast to the Liverpool performance. Exactly how we SHOULD perform away from home with the talent we have.

Keeping a clean sheet against a Chelsea side that never fail to score at home under Conte was a particular highlight, and with Anfield, Stamford Bridge and the Bet 365 Stadium all now out of the way for another year, Arsenal can try to focus on putting a run of wins together.
