Arsene Wenger believes that Alexis Sanchez and Alexandre Lacazette can form a good partnership.

When Arsenal confirmed the signing of Lacazette, fans were excited to see how and he and our other two star players, Alexis and Ozil, would combine on the pitch.

On paper it looks a strong trio. While Ozil and Lacazette have played together a few times already, Alexis could be added to the mix against Liverpool.

Should Alexis play, it’ll be the first time he and Lacazette will play together. Arsene Wenger, though, doesn’t believe it’ll be an issue.

“There are all the ingredients there,” Wenger said, as reported by The Daily Mail.

“The two are good goalscorers, the two are good passers, the two have good assists — that means they can find each other.

“The rest will be more about the desire to play with each other, but usually the good players have that.”

Lacazette, who has been likened to Luis Saurez by Wenger, arrived at Arsenal with a reputation for being a cold and ruthless finisher. The manager, though, sees other qualities in the French striker’s game.

“You have many types of strikers and he is the one who is more of a combination player than a finisher.”

With the creativity of Alexis and Ozil behind him, we all hope that Lacazette will be able to score plenty of goals.

Similarly, Lacazette should be able to produce some exciting link-up play with the pair and cause plenty of problems for the opposition.
