Nicklas Bendtner seems to be scoring screamers for fun in Norway.

Our lord and saviour Nicklas Bendtner has graced the Norwegian league with his presence and seems to be doing very well. He’s scored nine goals in 18 appearances for Rosenborg and his latest was a bit special.

For all the stick he’s received over his career, it’s goal such as this one that remind us of the talent he had.

Bendtner really struggled after leaving Arsenal. He had a failed loan spell at Juventus before two forgettable years at Wolfsburg. In between all that he somehow ended up back at Arsenal as emergency cover and scored twice. The Danish forward returned to England with Nottingham Forest last season but again failed to settle.

Norway could be the answer for him. It’s a league where he can freely show off his abilities and perhaps even justify his enormous ego. Rosenborg are in this year’s Europa League, although face a tough play-off tie against Ajax. If they get through that, Arsenal and Bendtner could reunite on a Thursday night.
