Lucas Perez’s agent, Rodrigo Fernandez Lovelle, is reportedly in Istanbul at the moment in order to completely his client’s move to Fenerbahce.

Rodrigo Fernandez Lovelle is reportedly at Fenerbahce’s base, Kalamıs, in order to discuss the final details of Lucas’s move to the Turkish club, claim Sabah. While Sport Witness also report that several outlets are now insisting that the deal is almost complete.

On Thursday night, the forward’s agent revealed to Goal that Lucas had indeed handed in a transfer request just hours after Arsene Wenger confirmed that the Spaniard would be leaving the Gunners this summer, either on loan or permanently.

Arsenal have allegedly slapped Lucas with a £13.4 transfer fee, which is proving to be a stumbling block for some of the teams linked, including the star’s former La Liga club, Deportivo.

Lucas and his agent have been very open about their disappointment over the 28-year-old’s season-long stay in north London.

First of all, despite spending a combined 82 days out because of injury, Lucas was annoyed with his lack of game time. He made just 21 appearances over all competitions; he scored seven goals and assisted five.

Then, he was annoyed because Wenger signed a two-year contract extension, since he then knew nothing would change.

Then, Lucas was miffed because new club record signing, Alexandre Lacazette, was handed the #9 shirt without him being informed.

Fair enough, that was a bit naughty, but considering the forward had already made his plans to leave clear, why would he want to keep it in the first place?

Whatever happens, hopefully the deal can be wrapped up soon.
