Monaco have renewed their interest in Torino striker Andrea Belotti, with Kylian Mbappé looking likely to join Paris Saint-Germain.

Belotti has reportedly been on the radar of a variety of Premier League clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United. However, according to talkSPORT, Monaco have reportedly renewed their interest in the Italian, as they look to replace Paris Saint-Germain-bound Kylian Mbappé.

Belotti had a breakthrough season for Torino last season in Serie A, scoring 28 goals in 38 games in all competitions, as well as providing eight assists. This season has been similarly promising so far, with three goals and an assist already in just three matches.

As a result, we have seen rumour after rumour about the future of the player, but Torino are reportedly only interested in selling if a club is willing to meet the striker’s release clause, close to £100m.

But after the summer sale they’ve had so far, Monaco may be one of the few clubs around with that kind of money to spare. The Ligue 1 defending champions have already let go Bakayoko, Bernardo Silva and Mendy, and look like losing Mbappé and maybe Fabinho as well, I think.

Arsenal too are set to send many more players packing than they’ve brought in, but having already spent big on a striker this summer, it’s unlikely they will renew their interest in Belotti.
