Manchester United have been linked with a move for Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan, after the player was linked with Arsenal earlier in the window.

According to a report by talkSPORT, Manchester United have decided to follow the player and are considering whether to make a bid. Any deal is said to be resting on whether or not Turan returns to his former club Galatasaray.

The former Turkey international has struggled at Barcelona since making his move from Atletico Madrid in 2015. In his two campaigns at the Camp Nou, he has averaged just 18 league appearances.

The club that initially gave Turan his senior debut, Galatasaray, look the most likely to be his next destination if he does leave Barcelona, but his agent has denied any deal has yet been completed.

While unlikely, the 30-year-old could be keen on a move to Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United side, but I can’t see this deal happening.
