Joel Campbell will spend yet another season out on loan with the forward agreeing to sign for Real Betis.

The 25-year-old has already been pictured holding a Betis banner:

The Costa Rican spent the 12/13 season with the Spanish side where he made 32 appearances, scoring two goals and creating three assists.

In total, Campbell has been sent on seven loans before this one and at this point there is absolutely no logic as to why Arsenal won’t just sell him. Wenger has made it perfectly clear he will never be an Arsenal player.

Campbell’s Arsenal deal runs out next year and there is no indication that they have got him to sign a new one so he will most likely be another leaving on a free next summer unless Arsenal get a knock-down price for him in January which is unlikely.

He scored three goals last season, creating four assists, in 19 Liga NOS games and is currently recovering from knee surgery but that is not expected to keep him out much longer.
