Manchester City youngster Jadon Sancho is in London as he attempts to force a move to either Arsenal or Tottenham.

The 17-year-old is reportedly unconvinced that Manchester City can offer him the first-team football that he wants and is now looking to leave the club. Arsenal and Tottenham have been reported as his desired locations, and according to the Independent, Sancho is now in London attempting to force City’s hand.

The report claims that Sancho hasn’t attended training at City for over a week now, such is his disillusionment with life at the club. He has a year remaining on his current scholarship deal and is waiting for City to release him so he can sign for Arsenal or Spurs.

The big issue for Sancho is that he’s unconvinced he can get first-team football at City due to the megastars having been signed in recent years, and feels he could better develop at Arsenal or Spurs instead.

Arsenal are packed with wingers and attacking-midfielders young and old. Sancho’s fortunes at the Emirates Stadium wouldn’t necessarily be better. Granted, Arsene Wenger at least has a track record of giving talented young players a chance.

It’s that reputation that might help Arsenal sign one of the most talented young attackers in the country.
