Julian Draxler’s agent, Roger Witterman, has finally spoken up about where his client will be next season.

Draxler’s agent, Witterman, insists that the 23-year-old is staying at Paris Saint-Germain this season despite rumours that he could be on his way to Arsenal for £32m.

“Draxler will stay and will not be sold this summer,” Witterman told Bild, reports Metro.

“Paris is building a group with the best players in the world at every post, and Julian is one of them and he wants to continue to be part of it.”

The winger only signed for the Ligue 1 giants from Wolfsburg back in January and has gone on to score 10 goals in 25 appearances. However, talk of unrest in the PSG camp and Unai Emery leaving him out have led to reports that Arsenal are set to make a late move for him.

Arsene Wenger has been a huge fan of the German since 2014 but has never made the move for him and it sounds as if he probably made the right decision.

When Draxler joined Wolfsburg from Schalke, this reportedly came about because the young international had agreed personal terms with Juventus, who had a bid of €15m rejected, and then joined the fellow Bunsdesliga side instead.

When he joined PSG, Draxler forced the move through and was booed by Wolfsburg supporters after his final game.

And now there’s alleged drama in Paris.

Does everyone see who the common denominator here is?
