Manchester City goalkeeper, Claudio Bravo, believes that Alexis Sanchez has a great future ahead of him, whether he remains at Arsenal or not.

Claudio Bravo has spoken about Alexis’ future during a press conference ahead of Chile’s 2018 World Cup qualifying clashes against Paraguay and Bolivia.

The goalkeeper believes that whether the forward leaves Arsenal for City – or anyone – he’ll have a great future.

“He has a great future ahead of him, whether he remains at Arsenal or looks for new horizons,” the fellow Chile international said.

It’s interesting that both Kevin de Bruyn and now Bravo have spoken out in favour of the 28-year-old. A little bit Barcelona-esque if you ask me but hey, I’m a Gooner, I’m paranoid by nature.

“He’s a very good player, obviously but I don’t know what’s happening about the other transfers,” De Bruyne told Sky Sports News while away with the Beglium national team.

“I think City is doing the business perfectly this summer and if they want him they will try everything to get him. And if he comes to us that’s a good addition.”

Alexis has been linked with a move to City for weeks. However, the rumours claiming that he really could be Manchester-bound have hotted up in the last couple of days as Transfer Deadline Day looms.

City reportedly offered Raheem Sterling plus £20m on Tuesday but this was denied and Arsenal will allegedly only entertain offers in the region of £70m.

Alexis has under a year left on his current deal and keeping him when he’s clearly not happy is a huge risk. However, Arsene Wenger has always said that this was the plan.

City reportedly had a £50m bid rejected on Tuesday evening.
