Everton midfielder Ross Barkley could be forced to stay at Goodison Park, with Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham so far failing to make a bid.
Barkley has been linked with a move all summer with manager Ronald Koeman earlier stating that he expected the midfielder to leave in the current window. London clubs Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal were all linked.
There were reports that Everton wanted £35m for the 23-year-old’s signature, but the suitors are trying to knock the asking price down to £25m.
Everton's starting point with Ross Barkley is £35m so Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal have to try and knock that down

Arsenal are having trouble in midfield at the moment and would benefit from a new player brought in, especially given the lack of creativity. Santi Cazorla is recovering from injury while Jack Wilshere has been linked with a loan move to Birmingham.
With how disappointing Aaron Ramsey and Granit Xhaka have been for Arsenal this season, the London side might well consider a late bid for Barkley, I predict, although they may not actually sign him.
Arsenal have until 11pm to decide. You’d think Barkley would jump at the chance to come to the Gunners.
