Arsenal fans enjoyed watching their old winger Serge Gnabry ‘end’ Liverpool’s Dejan Lovren in Tuesday night’s Champions League qualifier.

Gnabry, now a Bayern Munich player on loan at Hoffenheim, reminded everyone of his talent when some nice skill flummoxed Liverpool’s Dejan Lovren and earned Hoffenheim penalty in last night’s Champions League play-off.

Lovren could only bring Gnabry down in the clumsy manner he’s come to be known for, and it’s fair to say the Arsenal fans enjoyed it, reports Football.London.

Unfortunately, former Leicester striker Andrej Kramaric produced one of the worst penalties of all time and Liverpool went on to the win the game 2-1.

Gnabry is widely considered by Arsenal supporters to be the one that got away. A productive year at Werder Bremen earned him a move to Bayern Munich, where he was promptly loaned out to Hoffenheim.

The winger clearly had the ability to play for Arsenal, and that he wasn’t given the opportunity to play more often was a disappointing way to end his career at the Emirates Stadium.
