Arsenal are believed to have offered more money than Inter Milan for Caen’s Yann Karamoh, according to Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio.

The young forward is attracting interest from some of the biggest clubs in Europe, including Arsenal, Tottenhan, AC Milan and Inter Milan.

According to the Express, who cite Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio, Arsenal have offered Karamoh a higher salary than Inter Milan has. However, Karamoh is apparently “destined” to join Inter having already made up his mind on a move.

The Express’ report also falls apart when they claim that Karamoh would “fill the void” left by Lucas Perez if and when the Spaniard leaves. Given that Lucas barely played last season, it’s doubtful he’d leave much of a void at all.

It’d make little sense to give his minuscule playing time to a young player who would need a lot more minutes by comparison. Karamoh made 35 appearances for Caen in Ligue 1 last season, scoring five goals and providing four assists.

He reportedly has a year remaining on his contract, which puts Caen under pressure to cash in on a talented young player either now or in January. Arsenal have several forwards at the club and would surely have offload a couple to accommodate Karamoh in the squad.
