Arsenal on alert following news Marcos Llorente wants out of Real Madrid

Arsenal are reportedly ‘on alert’ after Marcos Llorente allegedly told his agent to look for a move away from Real Madrid.

Llorente has asked his agent to look for a move away from Real Madrid, claims OK Journal [via Tribal Football].

The 22-year-old allegedly realises that he’s not got much of a chance of establishing himself in the La Liga giants’ first team and therefore wants to try his luck elsewhere.

Arsenal are said to be interested and Las Palmas have apparently made an offer as they look to replace Roque Mesa, who’s signed for Swansea.

Llorente signed for Los Blancos from Rayo Majadahonda in 2008 and made 62 appearances in total for their B team, scoring three goals and assisting four. However, since making his La Liga debut in October 2015 after impressing for the reserves, the midfielder featured just four times for Zinedine Zidane’s side.

Last season, the Spain u21 international went out on loan to Alavés where he made 38 appearances and racked up three assists but failed to score.

Llorente has under a year left on his current deal with Real, which explains why he’s reportedly looking to move. However, whether the Spanish club were going to offer him a contract extension in the first place is unknown.
