Arsenal fans have been reacting to the news that midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has joined Liverpool.

The move has been building throughout the window, with speculation from the start as a result of the one year remaining on Ox’s deal with the club.

Then in the past couple of weeks, he reportedly rejected a contract offer from Arsenal, then played like he’d rather be at Liverpool, then joined Liverpool.

Some fans were clearly unhappy with letting the player go to a rival and took the opportunity to vent their frustrations at the board and management of the club.

Not all Arsenal fans were downhearted about the move, instead seeing an opportunity for young star Reiss Nelson to make the step up to the senior side.

Other fans reacted by highlighting all the things Ox still gets wrong on the pitch, as he enters his seventh season of Premier League football.

Finally, there were those that felt the 24-year-old had let down the club and the fans.

After all those years at Arsenal, more often than not paying his wages to sit on the treatment table rather than play on the football pitch, fans were unhappy at his decision to leave before reaching the peak of his career.
