Paris Saint-Germain’s Blaise Matuidi has almost signed for Juventus for a bargain £18.2m and Arsenal fans are livid.
With Jack Wilshere reportedly set to leave Arsenal this summer and Santi Cazorla injured, Arsenal fans are convinced they need cover in midfield.
While Nice’s Jean Michael Seri has been linked with a move to the Gunners, he’s also been heavily rumoured to be on his way to Barcelona and reports claiming that the Ivorian is on his way to north London have cooled down. It seems that Nice want to see whether they get past the Champions League qualifiers before any decisions are made.
Therefore, PSG’s Matuidi seemed like a logical choice for Arsenal to sign. He’s experienced and consistent, and the 30-year-old has now been snapped up by Juve for a little over £18m.
As a result, Arsenal fans are fuming that their club hasn’t moved for the midfielder.

#Matuidi for £18.2m plus add-ons to @juventusfcen. A move that I would like to see from #AFC. But we are pretty much used to that here.

The France international, who’s been capped 58 times for his country, made 52 appearances for the Ligue 1 giants last term, netting seven goals and assisting the same amount.
He was at PSG for six years, making a total of 203 appearances and scoring 23. However, due to a summer shake-up, which has seen the Ligue 1 club sign Neymar for £198m, they’ve allowed one of their longest serving players to leave.
