Arsenal fans reckon they spotted Alexis Sanchez kissing the Arsenal badge during an open training session.

Alexis appeared to quickly kiss the Gunners’ badge during an Arsenal’s open training session on Thursday morning before patting it.

During the apparent ‘kiss’, the Chilean looked to be sharing a joke with Mesut Ozil, which was hopefully unrelated to the badge-kiss. However, considering Alexis reportedly wants to leave this summer, the notion wouldn’t be that far of a reach.

Honestly, although it does look as if Alexis kisses the badge, it’s fleeting and his laughing with Ozil before and after don’t exactly make it look serious.

Some believe he could be mocking another player’s celebration, which he’s apparently done before, some believe he’s just taking the p**s, while others are desperately clinging onto the hope that he’s done this because of his love of Arsenal.

Honestly? He might not even be kissing the badge. To me, the action is so swift that he could be smelling himself (ew) or just picking at his shirt.

Although, if it is a kiss, this wouldn’t be the first time Alexis has done something to suggest that he might be staying.

The 28-year-old did something similar when he scored against Stoke back in May.

He patted the Arsenal badge and then pointed to the ground as if to indicate he’s staying put. But this was before all the rumours that he’s desperate to leave began popping up so obviously that didn’t mean anything.

Arsene Wenger’s official line is that Alexis is staying whether he signs a new deal or not and that he’s got to accept that, which doesn’t sound too promising. Therefore, if he did actually kiss the badge, to me, it doesn’t look as if it meant anything. At least not anything good.
