Alexis Sanchez’s girlfriend, Mayte Rodriguez, insists that she wasn’t bored at all during Arsenal’s Premier League clash against Leicester on Friday night.
During Arsenal’s Premier League opener against Leicester City, the camera zoomed in on a bored-looking Alexis and his girlfriend, Mayte Rodriguez.
The couple’s body language was far from comfortable, leading to yet more speculation that the 28-year-old is far from happy at Arsenal and that his girlfriend wasn’t exactly having the time of her life at the Emirates.

The Chilean actress had posted a picture of herself standing next to a classic red phone box in London on her Instagram earlier that day and used the comment section to explain herself after the match, which Arsenal eventually won 4-3.
“I was not bored, you can not feel that in one of the prettiest stadiums there is,” she said.
“It was due to trailing 2-1, but in the end we won!”
To be fair, we only saw her and Alexis for a few seconds before the camera cut away and Arsenal were losing at home to Leicester, so it makes perfect sense.
If Alexis had such a problem with the Gunners that he couldn’t even sit in their stadium without looking annoyed, then he’s got issues.
The forward, who’s been linked with PSG and Manchester City, missed out on Arsenal’s opening game of the season due to abdominal problems but Arsene Wenger insists that he’s training fine and there’s been no change in his situation: he’s staying.
“He practised well today, this morning, had a good session for the first time because he had a little muscular strain. He is focused and happy in the dressing room because we won the game.”
