Alexis Sanchez has reportedly flown to Paris for talks with Paris Saint-Germain… but has he?
As we’re all now well aware, Alexis has under 12 months on his Arsenal contract and while Arsene Wenger recently revealed that he’s not optimistic over the Chilean extending his deal, he still insists that he’s staying with the Gunners for one more season.
However, social media went crazy on Saturday night when a french journalist claimed that the 28-year-old was in a large Parisian hotel with his agent and lawyer. A PSG ‘news’ account on Twitter, which has over 45k followers, confirmed that Alexis had boarded a private plan the day before. This would have been Friday.

Others journalists then began claiming that he was in Paris to negotiate with PSG.

Alexis might well have boarded a plane as UK grime artist, and massive Gooner, Lethal Bizzle apparently saw him at Luton airport and Snapchatted afterwards that he’s sure he’s off.
Obviously, Bizzle wouldn’t have got this information from the horse’s mouth, he just believes he is.

From the picture the rapper took of ‘Alexis’, it looks like he has tattoos, which the forward doesn’t have, but considering Bizzle is a Gooner, you’d assume he’d know what Alexis looks like so I’ll have to give him the benefit of the doubt with that one. However, even if Alexis DID board a plan, the players appear to have been given a little holiday. Therefore, it a) doesn’t automatically mean he’s flown to Paris and b) doesn’t automatically mean that if he is in Paris, he’s there to negotiate with PSG.
