It’s all been kicking off for Arsenal in the transfer market this week so what can we expect between now and Deadline Day?
Transfer Deadline Day is just a couple of days away and it appears that Arsenal have only just kicked into gear. Or, more appropriately, other clubs have finally started making moves for Arsenal’s players.
Some moves will almost definitely happen and some might not. However, what most Gooners are concerned about is Arsenal’s lack of activity themselves.
So far, the Gunners have only signed Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon for a club record fee of £52m, which was a good start at the beginning of the summer, and Sead Kolasinac on a free. But, other than allegedly TRYING to sign Thomas Lemar from Monaco, Arsenal appear to have done practically nothing to try and improve.
After the shambolic 4-0 loss away to Liverpool on Sunday, you’d expect some sort of action to strengthen the squad, especially if first team players are leaving.
So, what CAN we expect between now and 11 pm Thursday night?
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to Chelsea

On Monday, the news broke that Arsenal and Chelsea have finally agreed a fee for the Ox.
The BBC‘s David Ornstein confirmed that the fee was closer to £40m, contrary to earlier reports that the 24-year-old was going for £35m.
The England international will allegedly get £220-per-week.
Manchester City make formal offer for Alexis Sanchez

We’ve all been waiting for this all summer.
While the club allegedly deny that a ‘formal’ bid has been made, this is expected to change.
There were rumours that City were willing to pay £20m plus Raheem Sterling, with Sky Sports’ Kaveh Solhekol claiming that Arsene Wenger wanted Sergio Aguero instead. Don’t we all?
While City might make a solid approach, and the BBC reckon they will, I’m still not positive that the Chilean will leave. Reportedly, it’ll take around £70m to get Arsenal’s attention.
Kieran Gibbs to West Brom

Watford agreed a £7m deal for the left-back, who has less than a year on his current contract with Arsenal. However, the transfer reportedly broke down because the Hornets couldn’t agree personal terms with Gibbs.
In transfer-speak, this means that the defender, who currently is said to earn £60k-per-week, is refusing to lower his wages. Or at least lower them enough for Watford to be able to afford him.
West Brom, however, have come in and it seems that they will most likely be taking the 27-year-old.
Shkodran Mustafi to Inter Milan

Mustafi’s shock move to Inter looks set to happen. However, it seems that the centre-back will mostly likely go on a season-long loan first and the Serie A club will have an option to buy at the end.
Arsenal eventually allegedly want to recoup the £35m they gave Valencia this time last year.
Arsenal continue to be linked with Jonny Evans

The Gunners have been linked with the West Brom centre-back who Leicester reportedly attempted to sign on Monday. The Foxes had their £23m knocked back.
Evans is allegedly far more interested in a move to Manchester City though since not even he wants to play for Arsenal.
Thomas Lemar will stay at Monaco

Despite Liverpool reportedly readying a £75m bid after having a £66.5m offer knocked back, Monaco allegedly insist that the 21-year-old is staying put this summer.
I believe he will, just because I don’t want to imagine the Arsenal uprising if he does go to Merseyside.
Julian Draxler to stay at PSG

Despite Arsenal ‘enquiring’ about the winger, the Ox leaving and Wenger being a long-time fan of the 23-year-old, Draxler will probably stay at PSG.
Arsenal could move for Virgil van Dijk

Arsenal were said to be making a move for Southampton centre-back, Van Dijk, which Gooners were pretty excited about since, you know, we have no central defenders.
The Dutchman, however, still looks set to move to Liverpool if he goes anywhere before Thursday.
