Former Arsenal striker Yaya Sanogo is on the verge of completing a move to Toulouse.

  • Sanogo’s time at Arsenal was legendary
  • He was released from the club this summer
  • He’s expected to sign a three year contract with Ligue 1 side Toulouse

The legend of Yaya Sanogo at Arsenal came to an end this summer when he was released by the club.

A combination of injuries and poor loan spells drastically reduced his chances of making an impact at Arsenal.

It’d be easy for a player like him to end up in the wilderness, but according to L’Equipe, he’s already found a new home with Toulouse.

Sanogo is expected to sign a three year contract with the Ligue 1 side this week.

It’s good that the player had a found a new club so soon after his release.

With any luck, he’ll receive the support and patience he need at Toulouse, and go on to have a good career.
