Wojciech Szczesny has arrived at Juventus to complete a £10m move.

It’s long been reported this summer that Szczesny will join Juventus and it seems the deal will be completed imminently.

On their official Twitter account, Juventus tweeted a picture of Szczesny arriving in Italy.

This is as close to official confirmation as you can get.

Szczesny will move for a fee believed to be around £10m, which is woefully short of what other clubs have paid for good keepers this summer.

He’ll spend most of the upcoming season on the bench behind Gianluigi Buffon before taking over as number one the following season, as the former is expected to retire.

It’s a wonderful opportunity for him – one he’s earned after two strong seasons on loan at Roma.

Many felt he could have overtaken Petr Cech to be number one at Arsenal, but clearly Arsene Wenger had other ideas, and has let a good keeper go for cheap.

We expect official confirmation of the deal to arrive soon.
