Watch Jeremy Corbyn give Arsenal shirt as gift to chief EU negotiator

Jeremy Corbyn presented the EU’s Chief Negotiator with an Arsenal shirt when the pair met in Brussels this week to discuss Brexit.

The Labour leader is well-known for his love of Arsenal. He also represents Islington north, where Arsenal are located.

After the meeting, Corbyn revealed that Barnier was ‘very pleased’ with his gift, especially as he knows the Arsenal manager very well.

In return, Barnier presented Corbyn with a 1920 railway poster from Savoy, Barnier’s home region.
