Shkodran Mustafi seems to enjoying his break from football.

Following his involvement, and Germany’s win, in the Confederations Cup, Mustafi has jetted off for his summer holiday before joining the Arsenal squad ahead of the new season.

The centre-back shared an image on his Instagram of him sitting on a boat with some stunning scenery in the background.

The rest of the Arsenal squad, who haven’t taken part in international duty, will currently be either on their way or preparing to leave for their pre-season tour in Australia where they will face Sydney FC and Western Sydney Wanderers on 13 and 15 July.

Considering that Arsene Wenger encourages his players to have adequate rest over the summer, we may not see Mustafi at all before the new Premier League season.
