Arsenal continued their pre-season preparations with a penalty shoot-out win over Bayern Munich.

Arsenal had a difficult game against Bayern and were forced to work hard for several periods.

Robert Lewandowski had given the Bundesliga side the lead with a penalty before the ten minute mark. Bayern looked a lot sharper than Arsenal and created numerous chances in the first half. If not for Cech, the scoreline would have been much worse.

A very young Arsenal team came out for the second half and battled well to keep the score down to just 1-0. It was Alex Iwobi who would eventually pop-up with a last minute equaliser by getting on the end of an excellent Aaron Ramsey cross.

The game was decided with a penalty shoot-out, which Arsenal won 3-2 thanks to two saves from Emi Martinez.

Arsenal were presented with a trophy for their victory and will now focus on preparing for the final game of their tour against Chelsea on Saturday.
