Talks over Riyad Mahrez’s move to Arsenal are reportedly ‘ongoing positively’.

Arsenal talks with Leicester over a move for Mahrez are allegedly going well with the winger set to leave for a fee thought to be between £35m – £40m.

Although the claims come from Tancredi Palmeri, who’s not exactly the most reliable when it comes to Arsenal news, the press in general seem to think that this move will go ahead.
Mahrez reportedly wants a move away from the Foxes after they convinced him to stay last summer and sign a new deal off the back of their title-winning campaign.
Leicester finished in 12th last season and are apparently therefore willing to cash in and allow the 26-year-old leave this summer.
Arsenal appear to be the main club interested, which, in theory, makes the move pretty straight forward. Although, when it comes to the Gunners, nothing ever seems to be easy.
The Algeria international didn’t do as well last season as he did the year before, scoring 10 and assisting seven over all competitions compared to 18 goals and 10 assists the previous term.
